It was with deep gratitude that I had the opportunity to work alongside Helena Sacadura Cabral, a figure so admired by the public, on a tender and heartwarming children's story about two young friends who help out a little bird rediscover how to fly through kindness and generosity.

I was responsible for the entire creative direction of the book - from illustration to design, book cover, and final artwork.

The illustrations are crafted in a whimsical style with gouache soft textures, warm colours and joyful movement. Each scene is filled with playful details (I dare you to find my beloved dog, present in all of my books!), and a sense of wonder.
