"NEBLINA" Book
NEBLINA is a poetic story that invites children and adults alike to explore their inner world.
After our first book, Um dia bom, Marta
and I came together once again, working alongside each other in the same intimate process: some drawing lines are Marta’s, some words are mine, and together we shaped every page and every detail. It is truly a book by both of us.
I also oversaw the creative direction of the book: from illustrations and design to the cover and final artwork. The illustrations are vibrant and expressive, with bold, fluid strokes of colour that play with the contrasts of mist and sunshine.
This story feels especially important today. At different times in life, we all pass through our own “mist” (neblina). No one escapes inner challenges, pressure, or anxiety as they are part of being human. The question is: how do we face them?
In this book, we follow Tomé on a journey through his inner world. It is an invitation to pause, to breathe, to accept even uncomfortable emotions, and to notice what is around us, bringing us back to the present moment.
NEBLINA has been a dream since 2023, and now it has finally arrived in bookshops! We hope you feel, as you read it, the same care and love we put into every page over the past year and a half.
