Now on its third edition since it was launched in September, Um dia bom (A good day) is the first book co-authored as well as being the illustrator and designer.

Marta Oliveira da Silva and I worked really closely together in developing this book: Marta wrote it and I illustrated it however we both dabbled in each other's media and art.

'Um dia bom' is a simple yet sensitive book, in black and white with tiny blobs of color.

It does not shy away from the pain in life

and it also reminds us to look at life with a grateful heart and to find a good day in the simple things in daily life.
